Welcome to Liverpool Town Hall
Liverpool Town Hall, home to The Lord Mayor of Liverpool, is the pièce de résistance amidst the surrounding grandeur of Castle Street and Exchange Flags – it’s impossible to ignore the sheer splendour of this building.
Liverpool Town Hall makes a majestic setting for any occasion and offers a warm and sumptuous welcome to all who enter its impressive front reception.
Built in 1749, the hall has been a flag-ship building within our vibrant city from its early role in Liverpool’s mercantile community, through to Beatlemania and of course hosting Her Majesty The Queen on her Royal Visit in 2016.
We’ve seen Royalty, both official and fictional, thanks to location shoots arranged by our Liverpool Film Office, from classics like Chariots of Fire, to blockbuster Jack Ryan, the Hall is a popular film location.
